Calculate your daily calorie requirements based on your goals - weight loss, maintenance, or muscle gain.
Understanding Calorie Needs
Your Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE) is the total number of calories you burn each day. It includes your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) - calories burned at rest - plus calories from activity. To lose weight, eat less than your TDEE. To gain, eat more. A 500 calorie daily deficit typically results in about 0.5 kg (1 lb) of weight loss per week.
